Episode 2: New Copernicans

Life is spherical–It is lived in 3D. This is the guiding insight of millennials, the emerging American generation born after 1980. They tend to see their parents as flat earthers. They are the New Copernicans. Researchers refer to those who reach adulthood around 2000 as millennials. The popular press has criticized this emerging generation of young people as being too narcissistic, too lazy, too illustrative of expressive individualism, and too plugged into their technology. But we believe that these “ millennials” have much to add to our understanding of reality. Their fresh perspective will have broad cultural influence in the coming years.
