OUR TEAM

Will Stoller-Lee: Co Founder of the Windrider InstrituteWILL STOLLER-LEE

Co-Founder / Executive Director

Will Stoller-Lee was part of the planning team that visited the Sundance Film Festival in 2004 to explore the possibility of offering a course for credit in conjunction with the festival. A year later the first Windrider Forum was launched with 40 students from Fuller Theological Seminary and Biola University. Now in it’s ninth year, the Windrider Fourm at Sundance has grown to become a one-of-a kind immersive educational experience and the largest ticket purchasing block at the festival. This past year more than 120 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests attended the festival including students from Fuller, Biola, Taylor University, BYU, Pt. Loma University, Northwestern College, and the Los Angeles Film Studies Center.

In 2005, Will was the catalyst for a regional forum held as part of the Colorado College Summer Festival of the Arts. And, he has helped to launch Windrider Forum events in the Bay Area, the Northwest, at the Toronto International Film Festival and the Heartland Film Festival. He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Windrider Forum.

Will has been the Director of Fuller Theological Seminary’s regional campus in Colorado Springs since 1995 when the local program was launched. Fuller is a multi-denominational seminary with a campus in Pasadena and six regional campuses (in Seattle, Phoenix, Northern and Southern California, Houston, and Colorado Springs). Fuller’s regional campus in Colorado offers coursework year-round for students and coordinates several ministry partnerships including Young Life and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. As Fuller’s Director, Will has devoted a great deal of time on community events that take an honest look at themes of spirituality and religious faith which promote respect and understanding. In 2008, he received the “Dove of Peace” award for his community work on interfaith dialogue from the Center for Christian-Jewish Dialogue.

Will has been married for 26 years. He and his wife, Anne, have two grown children. He is a graduate of Colorado College (B.A. in History, ’79), and Fuller Seminary (M.A. in Theology, ’93).
